I was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia and am the oldest of three siblings. Being the oldest and having two brothers, I have always felt the weight of responsibility and taking care of others. Additionally, I grew up in a military home and was accustomed to hard work. My childhood dream was to work in the legal field, although I had no idea in what area or in what capacity.
After graduating high school, I went to Christopher Newport University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Psychology. From there, I was offered my first position in the legal world as an estate paralegal. This is where I grew to love the estate practice and estate administration became my niche. I have been an estate paralegal since 2005. Helping families, solving problems, and simplifying complex processes are my passions.
Outside of work, my husband, Robert, and I serve as youth pastors at the First Church in Portsmouth and are involved in other areas of ministry. I love investing in others and watching people develop their dreams. In my free time, I enjoy time with my husband and son, Robbie. Our favorite thing to do is relax together or try out new coffee shops/restaurants.
