At Alperin Law & Wealth, our connection to the Alzheimer's Association runs deeper than a logo on a sponsor list. Scott Alperin has served as a board member of the Alzheimer's Association and has spent years building a personal and professional relationship with the organization and the families it serves.
That relationship is reflected in the work we do every day. Our Life Care Planning practice exists specifically to help families navigate the legal, financial, tax and caregiving challenges that come with aging and cognitive decline — the same challenges that affect the more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's today. We see the impact of this disease firsthand, in the families who come to us unsure of what comes next and in the clients who planned ahead and found themselves with more options and more peace of mind because of it.
Supporting the Alzheimer's Association is one of the ways we show up beyond the office. Their mission — to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia through research, risk reduction, early detection, and quality care — aligns directly with our belief that planning and advocacy go hand in hand.
Walk to End Alzheimer's — Coastal Virginia
Each year, the Alperin Law & Wealth team participates in the Walk to End Alzheimer's, one of the world's largest fundraising events for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. In 2026, we'll be walking on October 24th as part of the Coastal Virginia Walk — and we'd love for you to join us.
