Background
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Jonathan first came to the area in 2016 to attend Regent University for his undergraduate degree. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology due to a desire to better help people navigate and overcome difficult times. He later returned to the area in 2022 for law school, earning his law degree from Regent University School of Law and making Virginia Beach his permanent home ever since.
During his time in law school, Jonathan distinguished himself academically and on campus as one of two Executive Editors for the school’s Law Review and as a board member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution team. Before joining Alperin Law in September 2026 as a member of the Litigation team, he served as a Judicial Clerk with the Virginia Beach Circuit Court, where he gained a valuable behind-the-scenes look at judicial decision-making and court procedures.
Outside of the Office
When not working, Jonathan enjoys spending time outdoors through hiking and traveling, playing board games with his wife and friends, and diving into a good book.

Jonathan is admitted to practice law in all state courts in Virginia (2025).
