Since I was a child, I knew I wanted to be some sort of “first responder,” in times of need, and I admired the role that attorneys have as legal advocates for those in need of solutions and some sense of justice. Helping others find solutions to their problems and meeting their needs has always been my passion, and I am proud to be a legal advocate for my clients.
Born and raised in rural Alabama, after attending Enterprise State Community College, I moved to Virginia Beach in 2014 to complete my undergraduate degree at Regent University. I knew Virginia Beach was home the moment I arrived. I lived in a small town my whole life, and to be in such a large area with so many things to do was amazing!
I received my Bachelor’s in English/Language Arts and U.S. Government before attending & graduating from Regent University School of Law. During my time at Regent Law, I had the privilege of serving as Presiding Officer of the Honor Council, Board Member of the Public Interest Legal Advocates of Regent (PILAR), and Third Year Student Member of The James Kent American Inn of Court.
I thoroughly enjoy estate planning, estate administration, and Elder Law because I get the incredible opportunity to meet with wonderful people and assist them in making complex decisions that will affect them and their families. I get to walk with my clients through the years and watch their families grow. I am also a qualified Guardian ad Litem for Children and a qualified Guardian ad Litem for Incapacitated Persons.
I am a passionate advocate against elder abuse, child abuse, and human trafficking. I have volunteered in organizations to combat the trafficking of minors in Virginia since 2016. I am proud to be part of a network of advocates that work with local authorities and legislators to educate the public about the existence and dangers of child abuse and child trafficking.
In My Free Time
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My children and I are very active on the weekends, and we love attending concerts, watching movies, and snuggling up with our dog and cat. I am a huge Alabama College Football and Softball fan, Roll Tide!
